TRITON WALKING IN THE FOC. WE DON’T GIVE A ____ ABOUT ANYBODY.
One of my favourite Triton cheer. Cool eh? Haha. Yes, as promise, i am blogging about it now. But photos very limited, cause i couldn’t find alot of it, so just imagine as i describe. :]
Day1:
ShiYun, Desmond and i got seperated into different groups, and yes, we didn’t meet after that. So there isn’t going to be any of them in this post anymore. AWWWW. Was really awkward when i was in my group, cause i know none of them. First game: Mass ice-breaker scissors paper stone. FUN! And that’s how i got to know Vanessa, which i stick to like super glue for the rest of the camp. After that we got moved into our different sub group, which i’m really lucky to have Vanessa with me. Our group is called TRILA (TRY lA). Played ice breaker again.
The next activity was really interesting. We had to blindfold ourselves, without knowing what is it for. Oh ya, for this camp, we literally don’t know what’s going to happen next until it happen. So yeah, i like the suspense too. Okay, continue. We were each lead by the GLs to some corner and had to talk to a patner blindfolded. I had to lie on the stomach of my first patner, which makes my neck ache, because i don’t dare to lie completely on him. So they changed my patner, which i only had to hold his hand while talking. The talk was awkward at first, but it got better afterwards. After talking for 30min, we were required to take out our blindfold, and i bet everyone must be thinking “AHH, so he/she looks like this.” Haha. And the next thing we know, the person which we have been talking to will be our dance patner for the mass dance.
Learning of mass dance after that. Cool dance, but it was too difficult for a dance idiot like me. Haha. Fast forward to night activity.
Night activity for day 1 was team building game. Untangled, build the tallest tower, build some structure with the egg inside and not let the egg crack when it is drop from level 2, and some straw game.
Then we moved on to the second part of night activity. First part was boring shit, cause the only thing we did was watch movie. Some of them got grab out afterwards. But i was the unlucky one that got grab out only after 2 movies. The night walk was hell to me. It was like some haunted house, and i was literally screaming my whole way. I pity the other five that was with me. Haha. Nights out at 5am.
Day2:
Woke up at 7, so i only slept for like 2hours. They told us to report in the clothes that we need to throw away, so we knew the next activity must be nothing good. The first game we played, all of our face kena blue paint and floor like some face masks. Haha, I thought i would be disgusted by it, but i didn’t. I found it funny somemore. Haha. The next game, we had to eat some raw vegetable. They ask me what was my favourite colour, somehow i said blue instead of red. Which saves me, haha. Cause for blue, i only had to eat eggplant, but for red, i had to eat chilly. SO HENG AH! Next game was disgusting for me. They poured floor, detegent and our groupmate will use planta(Butter) to style our hair. People were saying we use planta as our hair contitioner. Haha. Though it was abit disgusting, but still fun uh. QiWei was the brave one, he volunteered to have egg, floor and butter poured into his underwear in order to get 2 marbles, which was important at the last day according to them. Next game, we had more food on my body. I had soysauce and ketchup on my hand, while some of them had them poured from the head.
I’m really impressed with myself for the next game. Cause we had to put our hands into mealworms and flour to dig for marbles. I thought i would never ever dare to do that in a million year, but somehow i did it! Some of our GL had to eat the worms in order to get more marbles, poor them!
End of dirty game. We went to wash the area near our mouth and ate with out dirty clothes and body. Haha. So this is how we look like after washing. Imagine without washing, we all really look like avatar. Haha.
Night activity for day 2 was also team building game. Ran around the school for different activity.
Lights out at 2am.
Day3:
Woke up at 8 plus, so kind of had enough sleep. Water activity for the day. Didn’t really wna play at first, cause i was having the time of the month. So i was avoiding the water the whole time. But it was like impossible not to get wet when the crew were happily pouring buckets after buckets of water at us, so i also heck care and just play lah!

Camp finale after that, cheer cheer cheer, laugh laugh laugh, scream scream scream. GLs skit. Power cheer. That’s about it. Haha. After that was hopnight(?) They wanted to give us the experience of clubbing, so they had this hall where they blast music, and i mean really blast, cause we had to shout into each other ear to talk. And then had the lighting effect, and a DJ to play the music. Everyone was dancing with each other, forming different circles to have dance battle. But for dance idiot like me, i just jump and swayed around, moving to different circles to watch the dance battle. Haha.
Alot of us didn’t sleep for the last night, cause if we sleep, we would be like this for the next day. Haha.
So spent our night talking and playing games. We were all like half dead around 5plus, so just didn’t care about the drawing on us part and lie on the stadium track to sleep. I never knew the stadium track would be so comfortable. Haha. Luckily we didn’t have any drawings on us, cause i think too many people were sleeping on the track so they were also lazy to draw on everyone.
Day4:
Mac for breakfast! And next was the emotional part. We went to the lecture theater and they showed us the video and played some really emotional song. All the GLs, crews, camp comm and DH were hugging and crying on stage, which makes the freshies cried too. We can really feel how much effort they put into this camp. I didn’t expect so many guys to cry too. So i really wna say thank you to all the people who made FOC so awesome.
Went back to the stadium and camwhore! Haha.

I really really really enjoyed myself during the 4days 3nights. Made really cool friends and learn some stuff. Faced my fear of haunted house and worms, though frankly speaking, i will still scream if a worm is crawling on me. Haha. The GLs were great, awesome, and really really nice. I really wna thank the people, Camp comm, crew, GLs, DH for making this camp such a great experience for us. This definitely is the most unforgettable camp that i have attended. Really thanks a million. And i love TRILA! Haha, thanks groupmates and GL Irfan, Darren and Joyce for making this camp so fun for me. I love you guys! :]
Oh ya, i forgot to mention, in the end the marbles were nothing. They were only there to motivate us to try out things. Haha. I think i’ve got the Trila spirit after this camp: Eh serious, TRY LAH!
